The sun came out in force after the rain; steam rising from the blacktop. The officer said that she had to drive at 120 kph to catch the speeding Webb, who was running late to her shift at a hair salon.
Officer Courtney Brown pulled Webb over and said "Where's the fire."
Sarah flashed her million dollar smile, "I'm sorry officer", and managed to look so contrite, the officer smiled and put down her book.
"Be safe," Brown said as she turned away, "Nice necklace, rhodochrosite or morganite, I can never tell the difference."
